The continuous air permeability of ALWA POR makes it an ideal choice for vacuum clamping techniques.
Unlike conventional porous materials, which often require holes or grids for vacuum attachment, ALWA POR allows for the production of vacuum tables and plates without such intervention. This offers a crucial advantage: sensitive materials such as thin films, delicate parts, or paper are not damaged due to the very fine pores of ALWA POR.
Furthermore, the clamping force of ALWA POR remains effective even when the workpiece to be secured does not completely cover the surface. This can be finely adjusted by altering the pore size and plate thickness.
In addition, ALWA POR enables the manufacture of grippig arms that ensure reliable and gentle fixation of workpieces in automated production processes.
