Sustainability in Moldmaking
Sustainable production starts with the tools and with materials like MOULD D behind them. ALWA is continuously improving the sustainability of its materials and processes to support responsible manufacturing.
Our mould system contains 60% recycled aluminium, a solution that significantly reduces CO₂ emissions:
- Recycled aluminium lowers the carbon footprint up to 40 times
- Recycling requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminium
