Maximum Surface Precision with MOULD D
In collaboration with our partner in the Czech Republic, two highly detailed negative moulds featuring complex wood and stone textures were produced in just four working hours.
Due to their geometric complexity, CNC milling from an aluminum block was not feasible. These moulds could only be manufactured using the ALWA MOULD D resin system.
Particularly efficient: by using pre-positioned wires, more than 100 vacuum holes were integrated into the mould system within just 60 minutes. Using conventional drilling methods in aluminum, this step would have taken more than a full working day.
This project once again demonstrates why ALWA MOULD D is the ideal system for fast and precise moldmaking, especially when surface quality and turnaround time are critical.
