ALWA MOULD D is a specially developed casting resin system for the rapid production of thermoforming molds. Due to its low material density and easy processing, the system enables shorter development times, ergonomic handling, and a cost-effective alternative to milled aluminum molds.

Faster Tool Design

Compared to milled aluminum, molds made with MOULD D can be produced significantly faster. Tools can be cast within just a few hours and put into operation shortly afterwards, ideal for prototypes, design modifications, or medium production runs.

Easier Handling and Greater Safety

With a material density of 1.7 kg/dm³, MOULD D is significantly lighter than aluminum (approx. 2.7 kg/dm³). This simplifies handling in moldmaking, reduces the need for cranes and heavy fixtures, and contributes to improved workplace safety in production.
